  • What is you booking policy?
    •Pet owners MUST specify service requested when booking •Owner must agree to our terms and conditions before we can provide any services •Due to California’s traffic and accidents we might run late to some appointments or earlier at times. ****** MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS COMFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENTS BY REPLYING ***** •None disclosed behavior issues will have a $50 charge for extra handling. •Aggressive dog will require muzzles •Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances.... The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which we cannot be held liable. In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize us to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. Note we have the right to take any pictures of your pets for education and protection purposes. ***Fleas or Ticks: Any pet found to have fleas and or ticks will be charged an additional $25 dollars extra for flea/tick shampoo, and for me to treat my vehicle. This is done to keep the grooming experience without the unwanted pests. One way would be by keeping your pet on a regular grooming schedule, this can be a way to help you keep track of their flea/tick prevention. On rare occasions, we may need to cancel appointments such as weather, sickness, road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance to reschedule. *****Cancellations: Please call 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are unable to keep it. If cancelled less than 48 hours in advanced a $50 fee will be charged to the card on file. If you are a "no show" you will be charged FULL PRICE to cover the charges for time and gas/trip fee, which will be due before we can book another appointment for you. Failure to pay said fee will result in the termination of services and your pet will be removed from my schedule permanently. *****Aggressive pets: I will attempt to do a pet one time if deemed to be aggressive. If pet becomes a danger to itself or me, I will return the pet to owner at FULL charge for the appointment finished or unfinished. Please note that I will get as much of the groom done as possible. However, I do not want any animal to cause injury to itself or me. I strive to be as safe as possible when grooming all pets. It is best that a veterinarian handle pets that must be sedated. MIQUAELTHEGROOMER doesnt become responsible if anything happens to the pet during or afrer the grooming due to medication or stress because she of the grooming. *****Matted pet: Matted coats can cause a variety of skin & health problems. Matted fur does not allow for air circulation to the skin, causing hot spots, bacterial and fungal infections. Fleas, ticks, maggots and other parasites may be lurking in the coat causing further skin infections. Matted fur also pulls and binds, causing pain to your pet when they move or lay on mats. The skin underneath is usually raw and inflamed. Matted coats will not dry properly and can lead to rotting fur and skin. Due to matting, your dog’s hair may need to be shaved extremely short to the skin and may show signs of skin irritations and sores due to matting, wet undercoat and dirty coat. In order to take care of a dog that has not been groomed often enough, and is matted, the required grooming sessions may be long, stressful, or painful. It is the goal to make your pet’s grooming experience as stress free as possible. This is a short clip, removing all the matting. Where feasible, we work to de-mat/brush out the dog’s coat, but only when it would not cause excessive pain and suffering to attempt to do so. There is a strong chance that your pet’s skin will become irritated during the clipping process. The matted hair rests tightly against the skin – the only way of removing mats is to use a short blade to clip between the skin and mats. Your dog may be nicked and cut because the groomer has to work so closely to the skin to remove the matted coat. Our groomers are very careful, but the possibility of injury exists. Understanding these risks, MIQUAELTHEGROOMER is authorized to proceed with the de-matting process. Please see our price list for extra fee cost. We will be happy to show you how to care for your pet’s coat so that matting does not recur. ***NOTE: A PET SHOULD BE GROOMED FROM 4-6 WEEKS REGULARLY. Always let our groomers know of any health conditions your doggies might have. Please have your pet ready to go at the schedule appointment time. This includes making sure they have been out to use the restroom and let our groomers know if your pet has any problems with running away. I will not hold MIQUAELTHEGROOMER responsible for any type of virus or sicknesses I get. I will wash my hands and will wash leashes and collars as soon as I receive my dog. I understand grooming my pet will require sharp tools and I will not hold MIQUAELTHEGROOMER from any liability associated with the above mention process and any medical problems that may be uncover and/or occur during the stripping/ deshedding/ dematting / grooming process. Should my pet need veterinarian care after or during the grooming process, I WILL AGREE TO PAY FULL GROOMING SERVICE AND ALL VETERINARIAN FEES. Every client MUST have a card on file. Payment is due after services have been completed • Late Fee PAYMENT is $15, after 2nd day of not receiving payment we will automatically charge the card on file. By me signing this agreement I understand and read everything.

  • My pet is aggressive, senior, or special needs. Can you still provide mobile grooming services?
    Yes! We cater to all pets from aggressive, senior, or special needs. Depending on the care needed and additional time required, an additional fee will be added to the final bill.
  • I need to cancel/reschedule my appointment.
    No problem! We understand things come up and a change in schedule may occur. If you wish to cancel, we do ask for a minimum of 48-hour notice. A fee will be assessed if you cancel within 48 hours or less.
